Join us for the eMotion Dance Showcase on 12 November at 5:00 PM, a celebration of creativity, leadership, and artistry within Wellington's dance community.
Through the Performing Arts, Wellington pupils are encouraged to explore their individuality, develop confidence, and connect with others through creative expression, embodying what it means to be a Wellingtonian: a learner, a connector, and a changemaker.
This inspiring evening features original choreography and performances by pupils from our Dance Fellowship Programme, alongside the talented winners of the Have2Dance Competition. Each piece showcases the individuality, discipline, and expressive power of our young dancers.
Previous annual dance showcases highlights
At Wellington, the Dance Fellowship Programme nurtures creativity, commitment, and collaboration through three levels — Fellows, Aspirants, and Associates.

Dance Fellows are our most experienced pupils in Years 10–13, demonstrating exceptional talent, dedication, and leadership both on and off the stage.

Dance Aspirants (Years 7–13) display strong passion and work ethic, participating in all Dance CCA classes and aiming to progress to Fellowship status.

Dance Associates (Years 7–9) are pupils identified for their potential and supported through mentoring and training opportunities with the Fellowship team.
