Celebrating the International Friendship Festival

24 Oct 2025

What an incredible day at the International Friendship Festival at Wellington College Shanghai!

On 24 October, our vibrant community of over 2000 parents, pupils, and friends came together to celebrate the true spirit of diversity and unity. With 48 nationalities represented in the lively United Nations Day Parade, we showcased the rich tapestry of cultures within our community.

Our taste buds were delighted at the Global Food Village with parents serving cuisines from Italy to Japan, from France to the Middle East, and of course, USA, UK and all corners of China!

Families and friends enjoyed spectacular open-air performances. As Felix, Chair of Friends of Wellington, said, “It’s a day when you can see the whole community come together to support!” More than just a festival, today reminded us of our deep pride and belonging as Wellingtonians. Thank you to everyone who made it unforgettable!

这一天,我们同为惠灵顿人,倍感自豪!
