Wellington Shanghai invites current and prospective families to join us for our Swimming Pathway Event on Monday, 27 April at 4:30 PM.

Whether your child is just starting out or already making waves, this is your chance to get a closer look at a structured swimming curriculum that guides every young swimmer—from first strokes to international competitions.

You will meet Coach Miguel Alvarado, Head of Aquatics at Wellington Shanghai and a renowned coach with the Spanish National Swimming Federation and World Aquatics Southeast Asia. With decades of experience and over 50 international swimmers coached, Coach Miguel further strengthens the Wellington swimming programme by providing more robust and professional training support for pupils at all levels.

We are also honoured to welcome guest speaker Lori Payne, Director of Swimming at American College Connection (ACC). Lori and her team have helped pupil-athletes secure scholarships at Ivy League universities and major NCAA Division 1 programmes. Her insights will be invaluable for families aspiring to combine academic and sporting success.

You'll also hear from members of the Wellington Aqualions, our elite swim squad. They will share their inspiring stories and how they balance rigorous training, academics and personal growth.

Our Aqualions embody excellence in and out of the pool. Last term, they broke more than 100 records, secured the ACAMIS Senior Overall Trophy for the first time, and returned from international meets with medals.
