Wellington Shanghai supports pupils who manifest exceptional interest and ability in a particular area of study through our Fellows and Scholars programme.

The Programme is a journey born from our vision to facilitate progress, exposure and opportunities for our pupils to make a lasting contribution to the College community whilst putting themselves in the best possible position for the next steps into Higher Education and beyond. Acceptance into the Programme is a highly coveted honour and criteria for entry are extremely rigorous.

The Programme is open to both current and prospective Secondary pupils.

Fellows

The Wellington Fellows Programme celebrates pupils who make making exceptional contributions to our community through their excellence in academics, the arts, or sport. This distinction honours those who achieve remarkable success in their fields and demonstrate outstanding commitment to enriching College life through leadership, creativity, or teamwork.

Open only to a select few pupils in years 10 through 13 each year, it recognises the unique impact individuals can make when they combine personal excellence with community spirit. Beyond the honour itself, Fellows gain opportunities to develop skills that bridge classroom learning, artistic expression, athletic dedication, and real-world leadership.

Successful Fellows enjoy the following additional opportunities:

• Opportunities for academic enrichment and challenge beyond the normal curriculum
• Additional Fellow sessions in their area of study
• Opportunities for support and coordination of entry to high-level global competitions

Fellowships do not carry a monetary award.

Applying for Fellowships
Prospective pupils who intend to start at the beginning of the academic year are eligible to apply for the Fellows programme upon acceptance of the offer of enrolment at the College. The application process for 26-27 will be released at the start of the academic year.
