Save the date! You are invited to the 14th Gala Concert of the International Schools Choral Music Society (ISCMS) on Sunday 23 February at the Shanghai Oriental Arts Centre.

Concertmaster, Melody, Wellington Arts Scholar of Music
This annual event showcases the musical talents of pupils from international and bilingual schools across the region. Since 2008, these young performers have come together to present a night of pure musical excellence.
This year's programme is truly special, because it features the China premiere of Constant Lambert's The Rio Grande, as well as the world premiere of a work by 16-year-old ISCMS Jenkins Award winner, Dylan Zheng. Beloved classics by composers like Glinka and Brahms will also be performed. All these pieces are professional-level repertoire, conducted by renowned artists such as Bob Hasty and David Squire.
The incredible lineup includes performances from the ISCMS choir, orchestra and big band. These ensembles will have spent the week prior rehearsing together at Wellington Shanghai, with our very own Arts Scholar of Music, Melody, leading the orchestra as concertmaster.
This is a night you won't want to miss. Bring your friends and family and help us celebrate the exceptional musical talents of our school communities.
