Clean sweep for Wellington at Dulwich Suzhou tournament
25 Sep 2017
Last weekend, Wellington sent four teams (three boys and one girls) junior football teams to compete in the first of the Shanghai Primary Football League Tournaments. These consist of local international school such as Dulwich Shanghai, Dulwich Suzhou, YCIS and NAIS.
The U11 boys won both division 1 and division 2, with Alex and Miguel giving impressive performances for the division 1 with Josh and Asun doing the same for the division 2 teams. The girls came through a nail-biting penalty shootout that went to “sudden death” before they beat YCIS in the final. Some great performances from Dior and Grace helped seal the victory. Good luck to all our teams, including our U9 boys and girls, competing at Wellington this weekend.
