Co-Curricular activities (CCAs)

Wellington's co-curricular activities (CCA) programme provides an exciting opportunity for pupils to explore new activities, cultivate new interests and develop a variety of skills. Many CCAs are run across a range of year groups, allowing pupils to connect and make friends with children of different ages.

Activities are offered within three broad categories: Sports, the Arts and Clubs and Societies. Many pupils train for sports teams and rehearse for productions during CCA time. There are also opportunities to represent Wellington at chess, creative writing, maths and science competitions and many more. All activities are provided by Wellington staff or, where appropriate, specialist external vendors.

We work with a range of providers to facilitate 'affiliated CCAs'. These are paid, externally run activities that happen off site such as horse riding, skiing and sailing. You can read more about these activities in the A to Z booklet.
