Wellingtonians celebrate another year of excellent IB results!
The 2025 International Baccalaureate (IB) exam results have been released, and we are thrilled to share that our 2025 graduates have attained an outstanding average score of 37.2 (out of a maximum of 45), well beyond the global average of 30.6—a remarkable achievement!
Additionally, two students achieved a perfect score of 45, an exceptional accomplishment attained by fewer than 1% of candidates worldwide.
One in three of our 2025 graduates achieved a score of 40 or higher, and our IB Core average score of 2 out of 3 is a testament to our College's commitment to holistic, well-balanced education.
"The IB results reflect the hard work, determination and resilience of our leavers and we are extremely proud of their success," says Head of Sixth Form, Martin O’Brien. "As our Old Wellingtonians head off to leading universities in the US, UK and around the world, they can look back on their time here with pride and we cannot wait to hear about their future successes."
