In this edition of We.Connect, we meet Joey, a graduate from the class of 2019 at Wellington College International Shanghai. Joey has been returning to her alma mater every year with her classmates to participate in alumni reunions and engage in various activities. During this summer's gathering, Joey shared some exciting news with us. After completing her studies at University College London, she secured an offer from Cambridge to pursue her master's degree. Wellington College China successfully concluded its first-ever group-wide Wellington Arts Festival, an enriching eight-day celebration of music, dance, drama and the visual arts. With a firm commitment to providing a well-rounded, holistic learning experience, pupils across the entire Wellington College China group experienced a series of immersive workshops, captivating performances and inspiring art installations.

A newborn baby’s brain contains approximately 2,500 synapses for each neuron. By age 2, this number surges to about 15,000, twice the amount found in an average adult's brain. This is a time when your child is absorbing knowledge from their surroundings at an astonishing rate.
