In case you missed it | Wellington's holiday concerts

10 Dec 2021

It would not be the holiday season without a bit of song and celebration, and these past few weeks, Wellington pupils have been delivering on both fronts! Festivities kicked off in earnest on 18 November with our first-ever Pre-Prep Christmas Concert. Our year 1 and 2 pupils filled the Wellington College Theatre with festive cheer as they serenaded audiences with lots of fun holiday songs.

The following week, on 23 November, our Lower Prep choir and orchestra treated us to a musical feast of seasonal favorites. And the next night, on 24 November, we saw our Upper Prep and Senior School orchestra, bands and choirs bring warm winter tidings as they performed a full slate of Christmas classics. But our pupils did not get the entire spotlight. The evening also marked the debut performance of our parent choir, who sang portions of Handel's Messiah with musical accompaniment from our Upper Prep/Senior School orchestra.

All year groups (and our parents and teachers) put on a spirited performance that was not to be missed. But in case you did, here are some snapshots from each evening.
