EdFest 2024: A look at this year’s speakers!
The China Festival of Education is just around the corner. On Saturday 20 April, thought leaders in education, mental health, wellbeing, technology and more will come together at Wellington College International Shanghai with the aim of ‘Empowering Learners for a Connected World’. Today, we are thrilled to announce this year’s keynote speaker: actor, writer and director Jassa Ahluwalia.
Keynote Speaker
You may have seen Mr Ahluwalia on hit series like Some Girls, Unforgotten, Ripper Street and Peaky Blinders. He is also the author of the upcoming book Both Not Half: A Radical New Approach to Mixed Heritage Identity. This is a continuation of the insights he shared in his viral 2020 TEDx talk and the award-winning 2022 BBC One documentary Am I English?. His session will be an inspiring and engaging discussion of what it means to straddle two worlds and how we can foster more inclusivity and mutual understanding between cultures.
