  • 81% of all grades obtained were A or A* (7/8/9)

  • Eight pupils out of 43 achieved a clean sweep of 10 A* (8/9) grades

Wellingtonians also performed especially well in language subjects:

  • 90% obtained A* or A (7/8/9) in art

Brendon Fulton, Wellington Master, shared, "We are incredibly proud of our IGCSE pupils who have exceeded expectations with this set of results. Despite disruptions to the exam schedule, we were pleased that they were able to sit formal exams for the large majority of their subjects. This set of results is a fair and accurate reflection and a deserved reward for their hard work and commitment. Importantly, these results will set them up well for the challenges of Sixth Form."

Charles Debieux, Assistant Head of Senior School and Director of Science and Technology, also added, "These results are testament to the determination and resilience our pupils have shown in an uncertain and demanding time. I am confident that they will be ready to take on new and exciting challenges when they start the IB programme as year 12 pupils later this month."

Congratulations to our incoming Sixth Formers on this impressive achievement. We are excited to see what they will accomplish in their final two years at Wellington.
