Lynedoch Win Senior School Sports Day

30 May 2018
The Senior School Sports Day was held on Friday 18th May 2018. The whole afternoon boasted a genuinely lovely atmosphere: a true blend of spirited competition and relaxed enjoyment. Highlights of the day include Robert Hedgecock running the 100-metre sprint in an impressive 12.88 seconds, and Anya Polatajko making an excellent 8.5-metre shot put throw.   Each of the Wellington Houses gave it their all but only one could be declared the winner, so the day's events were capped off with a presentation to The Lynedoch, the house with the highest overall points total from all the events combined. Congratulations to The Lynedoch and all of the Sports Day participants who made it such an enjoyable and fun display of sporting prowess and fair play.   Nick Starbrook Director of Sport Wellington College international Shanghai
