Wellington Swimmers take top spot in SSSA swim gala

On the 2nd December, the Wellington Swim Squad participated in the SSSA Swim Meet at Western International School of Shanghai with 67 swimmers. For many members of the team, this was their first time representing the College in swimming. Once again, the Wellington Swim Squad achieved huge success: attaining 25 gold, 9 silver and 15 bronze medals and coming first out of all 16 schools that entered the competition.
The SSSA Swim Meet gives our swimmers the great opportunity to achieve their person best, try different events and put their hard work, training and personal dedication to the test. Big congratulations must go to the following simmers: Zoe Stiller: 4 gold; Nicholas Ho: 4 gold; Tommaso Colombo: 4 gold; Damian Tang: 3 gold, 1 silver; Leigh-Ann Franetzki: 2 gold, 1 silver; Max Fan: 2 gold; Isabella Rovescala: 2 gold; Jade Franetzki: 1 gold; 1 silver, 1 bronze; Aimee Qi: 2 silver, 1 bronze; James Wareham: 1 gold, 1 bronze; Jacqueline Pearson: 1 gold, 1 bronze; Jason Chen: 1 bronze; Anni Qi: 1 bronze: Francesca Elementi: 1 gold; Sophie Hugo: 1 silver; Stefania Elementi: 1 silver; Li Tong Lin: 1 silver; Julian Huang: 1 bronze; Amy Jonker: 1 bronze; Gemma Jonker: 1 bronze; Charlotte Shi: 1 bronze; Austin Chuang: 1 bronze; Alex Lu 1 bronze.
