CISSA football update

02 Nov 2017
It’s been a busy two weeks of CISSA football, with our seven teams involved in a total of 16 games both home and away. The C1 boys played two matches last week, recording a 5-2 win (Sam scored two goals) against Concordia and were unfortunate in the second match, conceding two late goals to lose 2-0 against SMIC. The C2A boys were comfortable 5-0 winners against SAS Pudong, with Austin playing particularly well, while the C2B team missed two penalties, conceding to the other SAS Pudong team 2-0. The C1 girls pulled off some excellent performances: 1-1 against NAIS and 1-0 against Dulwich. Laeticia and Clara claimed the goals and Shan Wei played particularly well at the back. Finally, the C2 girls beat NAIS comfortably 2-0, with both goals coming from Stefania. Overall, the Wellington teams have enjoyed a great two weeks and we look forward to seeing them build on that success in future fixtures. Nick Starbrook Director of Sport Wellington College International Shanghai
