Cross-country season gets underway at Wellington
13 Sep 2017
Our cross-country team began the year in impressive fashion, competing in two friendly meets at both Concordia and Shanghai American School Pudong Campus. A total of sixteen runners were involved as the team continues to grow. The recent 5K event resulted in great runs from Felix (23:03) and Alex (25:30), with particular commendation going to Tommaso, our youngest boy runner at 9 years old with an outstanding time of 25:51, while in the girls category Agnus finished second overall with a time of 25:18. We have further runs coming up in the near future, including the SISAC championships in October.
All of the runners who have competed thus far should be very proud of themselves and we wish everyone in the team the best of luck for the upcoming events.
