Last weekend, Wellington College International Shanghai hosted the SSA X-Country Championships. Against a backdrop of glorious sunshine, the team enjoyed great success in the U11, U13 and U15 age groups. A total of 200 runners competed during this fantastic morning of cross-country, with a trio of Wellington pupils finishing first in their respective categories, not to mention a variety of other excellent placements: • U11 Boys: Alex 1st place • U13 Girls: Agnes 1st place and Annabelle 3rd place; U13 Boys: Tommaso 5th place • U15 Boys: Jason 1st place Special thanks go to Mr Telfer for all of his hard work in preparing the team through the activities and training of the Wednesday morning running club. All budding cross-country runners are welcome to join up, as we look to strengthen our pool of talented runners for future events.
