On the Red Carpet with the Duke of Cambridge

On Tuesday 3rd March, five exceptional winners of the Shanghai wide Paddington art competition attended the Film Premier of ‘Paddington’.

After a walk down the red carpet upon their arrival, being photographed like true celebrities, our young artists enjoyed looking at the exhibition within the Shanghai Film Museum, and examining the other winning art work from schools across the city.

However, the main event was meeting His Royal Highness, the Duke of Cambridge, shaking his hand and have a brief conversation.  He was of course very familiar with ‘Wellington’ due to our Royal patronage in the UK and he was most impressed with our work thus far in Shanghai, even wishing us the very best for the years ahead.

Perhaps Prince George may board here on an exchange program one day.
