Sam Munns
Primary Class Teacher
With over twenty years of experience in education, Samantha has experienced a varied career, teaching across the full span of the primary years. Originally from Hereford in the United Kingdom, she studied in Nottingham, where she earned her Bachelor of Education degree before embarking on her teaching career in London. Over the years, Samantha has assumed a diverse range of roles within primary education, both in the UK and internationally. Her passion for teaching and exploration led her to work in Malaysia, Singapore, and Peru before settling in Shanghai, where she now lives with her family. She has been enjoying life here for eighteen months and is looking forward to exploring more of China in the future. Samantha is very excited about joining her children and her husband at Wellington College.
Samantha is particularly passionate about developing student well-being, promoting inclusive education, and inspiring a love of lifelong learning. Outside the classroom, Samantha enjoys travelling, practising yoga, reading, and spending quality time with her family, especially in nature. She draws inspiration from new cultures, mindfulness, and global experiences to continually grow both personally and professionally.
