With a strong commitment to early childhood education, Lené Askew is dedicated to supporting the academic, social, and emotional development of young learners. Her teaching philosophy emphasizes the importance of fostering kindness, responsibility, and confidence, helping children grow into thoughtful, resilient, and compassionate individuals.

She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, followed by a Postgraduate Certificate in Education, which marked the beginning of her teaching career in Cape Town, South Africa. In 2017, she and her husband began their international teaching journey in Guangzhou, China. During this time, she served as both a homeroom teacher and Head of Year at Utahloy International School Guangzhou.

Outside of the classroom, Lené enjoys playing padel, running, and maintaining an active lifestyle.
