Olivia Burnell is a highly qualified and dedicated Chinese language educator with nine years' experience in both international and bilingual schools in Shanghai. She holds a Master's degree in Teaching and Learning Chinese Language and Literature from The Education University of Hong Kong, where she graduated with distinction and received the Dean's Honour Award.

Prior to joining Wellington, Olivia gained a range of teaching experience in different Chinese curricula, such as IB, IG and other international integrated Chinese programmes. Her work experiences include serving as a Chinese teacher and Head of Year, demonstrating her expertise in both student academic and pastoral education.

Olivia is passionate about education and focuses on fostering pupils' intrinsic motivation and achieving differentiated learning outcomes. She believes in the development of multiple intelligences and holistic education, always striving to help her pupils reach their full potential.
