Ruth is a caring teacher with valuable experience in a range of different roles, from teaching assistant to class teacher in both mainstream and specialist settings. She has approached each role with the same focus, passion and care to ensure that every child she teaches can achieve their potential.
After completing a degree in Early Years and Special Needs, Ruth worked as a teaching assistant in a mainstream primary school in Liverpool, UK. Her next step was working as an EAL Teacher in Ulsan, South Korea. During the following years, Ruth worked in a specialist SEND provision school in the UK, before working as a class teacher in British international schools in the Philippines and Qatar.
Before joining Wellington College, Ruth worked as a class teacher alongside working as the English Lead at a TES Specialist Provision of the Year 2023-award-winning school in Manchester, UK.
Ruth loves keeping active, travelling and spending time with her family.
