Declan Mullan has seven years of teaching experience in South Korea, Spain, Northern Ireland and China. He has taught at top-class language academies, an international kindergarten and a Montessori early years centre. This has involved successfully preparing students for Cambridge English proficiency exams. Declan has taught all ages and has been working primarily with young learners for the last four years. A graduate of Liverpool John Moores University, Declan earned a BSc (Hons) degree in Real Estate Management. He was teaching English to children in South Korea when he discovered his true vocation to be an educator. He soon achieved a CELTA Pass A grade in 2015 and has undertaken a PGCE with QTS with Wellington College, Shanghai and Durham University with a focus on Early Years and Primary. He looks forward to pursuing an MA in Education soon. Declan is an avid traveller and has spent time backpacking in Europe, Asia and Australia. He enjoys reading, film, computer games and loves playing and watching football. Declan also enjoys running and has taken part in the Belfast Marathon as part of a relay team. He loves spending time with his family, sightseeing, visiting museums, art galleries and dining.
