Nursery Teacher

Lewis has been working as an educator for almost a decade, teaching in children in Early Years to Middle School in the UK, Czech Republic, South Korea and China.  Throughout his career, he has occupied a variety of educational positions and leadership role, which include activities coordinator, camp counselor, teacher, head of foreign teachers and head of K1 curriculum. Lewis has taught in China for seven years, spending the past five years working as an Early Years teacher in Shanghai.

Lewis has a first-class BA (hons) in English literature from the University of Surrey, UK. He received his PGCE from the University of Sunderland in 2021 and he is currently undergoing a master’s degree in education from the same institution. He has attended training courses from the International Baccalaureate Organization and the STEM+ Institute in Shanghai.

An avid reader, Lewis spends his free time either studying or being with his family in Shanghai and Hubei. He is a big football supporter and watches his teams from around the world whenever he can. He also likes to spend time walking his dog in the evenings to relax.
