Harry Hardy

Head of Primary PE

Harry studied at the University of Bath where he obtained an honours degree in sports coaching (2015) before completing his PGCE at Newman University (Birmingham, England). During this time, Harry worked as a trainee PE teacher in an SEN Primary and Secondary school. It was here that Harry developed his understanding for inclusive and differentiated teaching practices that are key features of his teaching today.

After completing his teacher training, Harry spent two years teaching key stage 3 and 4 PE at British secondary schools before undertaking a whole-school PE teacher role at a school in Shanghai.  In 2018, he took on a Head of Primary PE at another Shanghai international school.

Harry has also worked in the US, Thailand and Cambodia, where he coached football and taught English in local Primary and Secondary schools. Harry is also a competitive football player and plays in a local expat football league.
