Teacherof PE

After graduating from Brunel University, Grace began her teaching career in 2014 as a secondary PE teacher and Head of Year in London. In that capacity, she taught AQA GCSE PE, coached U11, U13 and U15 netball and introducing the Duke of Edinburgh Award (DofE) with the largest cohort in London.

After making the move to China in 2018 Grace was part of the founding PE team at Wellington College Education (China) - Hangzhou (WCH), where she helped to establish the new PE curriculum and sports programme. She also introduced orienteering and led U12 girls basketball and boys touch rugby.

As a PE teacher in Shanghai, Grace has hosted various Shanghai Schools Sports Association (SSSA) events as well as working with local sports clubs and schools to develop U11 Touch Rugby. She trains and competes regularly in both rugby and football for SRFC and SWIFC as well as coaching for the rugby youth team. In her spare time she enjoys playing netball and exploring different cultures, places and cuisines.
