Upon graduating from university, Scott spent a few years working professionally as a design engineer before switching careers to pursue his passion for education. Since then, he has taught English in Thailand and Spain before merging his educational background with his teaching skills to teach design & technology in the UK and in China. He also has a passion for sports and has additionally worked as a PE teacher and coached a variety of sports teams.
Scott completed his early education in his hometown of Leicester in the UK before graduating from Sheffield Hallam University with a first-class honours degree in sports engineering. Furthermore, he holds a PGCE with QTS from Warwick University in secondary design & technology and is a fully qualified teacher of English as a second language.
Outside of teaching, Scott is a keen cyclist and plays a variety of different sports when he gets the chance. He also enjoys traveling to new places. He loves anything to do with food. He likes to read and he enjoys being with his friends and family. Scott also takes a personal interest in woodwork and crafts outside of school life and is often working on some new project or idea that he has come up with.
