Originally from Sunderland, Faye Donaldson moved to Nottingham to study for her undergraduate degree in Biomedical Science. During her studies, she undertook mentoring roles and worked to promote STEM subjects in local schools. This was the driving force behind her transition into a teaching career. After completing her undergraduate studies she completed her PGCE and earned a Masters in Education at the University of Nottingham.   Having enjoyed teaching in England for three years, Faye took the opportunity to expand her experience by becoming an international teacher in Bangkok, Thailand. Here she successfully delivered IGCSE Science courses, A level Biology and trained as an IB educator. It is with this experience she is excited to join the team at Wellington College Shanghai.   Outside of the classroom, Faye is a keen sportsperson. She especially enjoys swimming and cycling as well as team sports. She is an avid reader and enjoys exploring new countries.
