Victoria Doamekpor

Director of Educational Technology & Innovation

Vicki was educated at the universities of Lancaster and De Montfort where she gained a BSc (Hons) in computer science, statistical mathematics and business management and a Postgraduate Diploma in Law. After completing her PGCE in secondary ICT and business at Manchester Metropolitan university, she taught ICT and mathematics at an all boys comprehensive school in Manchester, UK before starting her international teaching career in The Netherlands in 2007. She gained her masters in International Education focusing on technology integration in 2015, shortly after moving to China.

Being a technology enthusiast, Vicki spends a lot of her spare time trying out new applications for pupils to use in class, and developing her understanding of programming languages so she can keep up with her pupils. Outside of the technology classrooms, Vicki can usually be found either in the Stanley houseroom or in the theatre, assisting with the many productions Wellington puts on throughout the year. Vicki thoroughly enjoys spending time with pupils outside her classroom, developing relationships, encouraging and nurturing not only the pupils in her House, but all the pupils at Wellington.

Outside of work, Vicki enjoys spending time with her children, taking them to endless sports competitions and going on bike rides along the river. As a family they thoroughly enjoy travelling around Asia, swimming, snorkelling and scuba diving whenever possible.
