Belinda Zhu has been a Chinese educator for over a decade in Shanghai and Vancouver. Before joining the Wellington team in 2020, she served as an instructor in both public and international schools, teaching pupils from diverse cultures at all levels of Chinese. Belinda has rich experience in developing curriculum and classroom management. She has also contributed to textbooks 《Welcome to China》by Hanban. Her mission is to strive for pupils’ academic success and their personal development. Belinda received her BA degree in Chinese Language and Literature from East China Normal University in 2005. She then received an MA in Applied Linguistics from Shanghai Jiao Tong University. She holds a National Teacher Certificate and a Certificate of Psychology Counselor Level II. In her spare time, Belinda enjoys cooking and reading.
