Teacher of Chinese | Chinese First Language Coordinator
Alex majored at the East China Normal University in Chinese language and literature before completing a Master's Degree in teaching Chinese. While studying, she also worked for the Council on International Exchange as a Chinese teacher. She comes to us from St. Patrick's Catholic School, New Zealand, where she has developed a deep understanding of pedagogy and an appreciation of the needs of learners from different backgrounds. Outside the classroom, Alex is keen on drama – enjoying both watching and performing. She is also an avid reader and writer, and her writing has won several awards.
