Stella received a BA in English language and literature from Shanghai International Studies University, followed by an MA in teaching Chinese to speakers of other languages from East China Normal University. Her studies abroad in Japan and Hong Kong fostered her curiosity to explore diverse cultures.

Prior to joining Wellington College International Shanghai as an intern in 2021, Stella worked as a Mandarin teacher at international schools in Shanghai. Teaching a wide range of learners has allowed her to develop adaptability and flexibility. Her recent appointment to the full teaching team reflects her diligence, creditable efforts and steady career progression. She maintains a strong sense of responsibility and curiosity in her teaching.

She has many talents beyond her career as well. In her spare time, Stella enjoys playing the violin and singing, as well as reading and watercolour painting. She has many talents beyond her career.
