English Language Support Teacher

David is an experienced educator with a rich background in international teaching. He began his academic journey studying Classics at the University of Liverpool, developing a passion for language and ancient history. After graduation, he trained as a Primary School teacher in London and started his teaching career at Wellington College, working with year 2 and year 3 pupils. Seeking new experiences, David moved to Bangkok to teach year 1, gaining valuable insights into international education. His journey then took him back to Shanghai, where he currently contributes to the ELS Department at Wellington, creating an inclusive and stimulating learning environment. Outside the classroom, David enjoys practising yoga and reading. He is also a passionate traveller, particularly enjoying his adventures around Asia, where he immerses himself in diverse cultures and traditions.
