Lizanne is from Kenya and has a bachelor’s degree in business commerce. She holds a post-graduate teaching and learning diploma from the University of Nottingham with a focus on international education. Before transitioning into the field of international education, Lizanne was a risk manager at the British-American insurance company in Nairobi where she gained a wealth of experience in the corporate world as well as the economic environment. She has taught in international schools in China, Kenya, Cameroon and Seychelles. In the past eight years, Lizanne has served as a teacher of A level and IGCSE business and economics. She’s also an examiner of CAIE both IGCSE and A level economics. Lizanne is currently pursuing a master’s degree in economic development and policy analysis at the University of Nottingham.

In her spare time, Lizanne loves reading and analysing economic journals and magazines. She also enjoys cooking, swimming and traveling.
