Martin graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University in 2009. Following this, he completed my PGCE at Liverpool John Moors University and gained an MA in Advanced Educational Practice two years later. Prior to moving to Shanghai Martin has taught in two different secondary schools in Surrey/South-West London. He has previously held roles such as Head of Geography alongside teaching subjects such as A-Level Business Studies. Since 2015 Martin has held pastoral roles of a varying nature such as Assistant Head of Learning for Key Stage 4 and Head of House for Key Stage 3. In spare time, Martin likes to keep fit and healthy making the most of his gym membership. He also enjoys travelling; especially to new and relatively undiscovered destinations and has also been improving his culinary skills with cooking classes.
