Teacher of English Language and Literature

Hailing from the UK, Jade has worked at various international and bilingual schools between Hong Kong and Shanghai. Over the years, her passion for pastoral care has seen her take up positions such as head of year, house lead and student leadership coordinator. Jade studied English language and literature at Goldsmiths, University of London and completed her PGCE with the University of Sunderland. She is a keen debater and spent two years adjudicating and training teams for the World Scholar’s Cup.

Jade grew up as a third culture kid in Jersey, Channel Islands and then moved to Hong Kong as a teen, where she became a staunch advocate for animal rights. When she is not out rescuing strays, she can be found tinkering with her PC and restocking the fantasy and horror sections of her bookshelf.
