As a child, Tina lived in Shanghai, Colombia and the United States. After graduating with a degree in economics from University of California, Berkeley, she worked in finance and accounting before joining the teaching profession. After six years of teaching mathematics, she sees it as a lifelong and meaningful profession. During this time, she has obtained her secondary mathematics credentials from Washington DC, her QTS from the UK and is currently working on her Master of Science in Secondary Education from California State University, Fullerton.
Tina enjoys taking her three dogs on short trips in and around Shanghai. She also likes all the different cuisines available in Shanghai, such as Shanghainese, Turkish, Italian and Thai cuisine.
