Originally from London, Steffan graduated from the University of the Arts London in 2010 with a degree in Sports Journalism. He got his start in 2011 as a teaching assistant at his old primary school. He worked his way up through the ranks, assuming various roles, such as cover teacher and unqualified class teacher. In 2016, he began a graduate training programme at the school and became a qualified primary teacher in 2017. Steffan enjoys the challenges of working in diverse environments and believes the keys to a successful classroom are building strong relationships and having high expectations of children. He also loves inspiring children to read for enjoyment.   Outside of teaching, Steffan is a passionate traveller. Nothing excites him more than travelling to a new place that he hasn't yet been to. He is also an avid player and watcher of football and is a supporter of Manchester United.
