Beatriz has worked for the Cervantes Institute and the Shanghai CIIC International Training Center as Spanish teacher for adults and children since 2019. She is also been an official evaluator at all levels of Spanish language,for official Spanish certificates since 2020.
She holds both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Burgos in Spain. After developing her career as a civil engineer, she discovered her passion for teaching Spanish as a foreign language and made a career pivot to teaching in Shanghai in 2017. She is currently working on a master’s degree in teaching Spanish language for foreigners from Nebrija University in Madrid, Spain.
She has lived in Shanghai since 2011, where her twin daughters were born. Bother are Wellington pupils as well.
