Vicki joined Wellington in 2015 with her two children who were 9 and 6 at the time. She studied a BSc (Hons) in computer science, statistical mathematics and business management at Lancaster University and went on to complete a Postgraduate Diploma in Law at De Montfort University. After working as a paralegal in Manchester, UK for a few years, she decided to take a career pathway shift and completed a PGCE in Secondary ICT and business at Manchester Metropolitan University and an MA in International Education, focusing on technology integration. Vicki has taught internationally for over 20 years, working in both the Netherlands and China, as well as the UK.

Vicki believes in the importance of a work life balance and despite dedicating a lot of her spare time to researching new and innovative technologies to share with her pupils and colleagues, she also makes time for her family and enjoying her sporting pursuits. She regularly takes part in numerous competitive open water swimming competitions, marathon and half marathon running races and triathlons around China.
