John Davis

Teacher of Design & Technology

John has been teaching Design Technology in the UK for 16 years. He has taught Early Years to A-level, in subjects like electronics, product design and systems and control. He also has experience teaching food technology, ICT and computing.

He served as head of department at a leading prep school in South Derbyshire, where he helped develop children's technical skills. He prepared pupils for scholarships in design and technology. As manager of the school's motor racingteam, he gave pupils the opportunity to design, build and race electric cars.

John also served head of eesign and technology at the Hiba School in Hangzhou. Before teaching, John worked in Medical Engineering for the NHS and a company that specialised in radio therapy equipment.

In his free time John enjoys being outdoors through camping, walking and running. He also likes to travel and relax witha good book.
