Tobias Oyugi

Head of Computer Science

Tobias is from Kenya and has a bachelor's degree in mathematics and computer science. He holds a post graduate teaching and learning diploma from Cambridge University with a focus on international education. He also holds a master's degree in systems, monitoring and evaluation from the University of Nairobi. 

He has taught in international schools in China, Kenya, Cameroon and Seychelles. In the past 16 years, he has served as a teacher, ICT director and departmental head. He is currently pursuing a master’s degree in data science at Arizona State University. He is also an active computer science education global advocate and a member of Computer Science Teaching Advocacy Coalition (CSTAC), an international charity based in the USA.

In his spare time, he loves manipulating digital circuit boards and microcontrollers. Tobias also enjoys reading philosophical books and cycling.
