Phil Osborne
Phil Osborne
Year 3 Teacher & Head of Staff Wellbeing
Phil spent two years teaching in the UK before moving to teach abroad for four years in a large international school in Shanghai followed by two years in an international school in Singapore as the head of year 3. However, Phil missed the bustle and excitement of Shanghai and is delighted to have returned to the city. Phil is a third-culture child and also a product of an international education system, having spent an entire childhood in the Netherlands, attending an international school before moving to the UK to study law at university. Phil has felt privileged to have been part of the founding group of colleagues who were responsible for setting up Wellington College International Shanghai. Phil is particularly interested in science and thoroughly enjoys introducing this subject to the younger pupils. Phil also speaks several languages and has a great deal of experience with EAL children. Mental health and wellbeing is something that has also been a passion for Phil, for many years.
