Year 3 Teacher

Before moving to China, Jessica taught high school mathematics and biology.. While in her home country, she further enhanced her skills and completed her International TEFL certificate in 2018. She arrived in Shanghai the same year and started working with young learners as an ESL teacher. She has since worked with students from ranging in age from two to 18 years old.

Jessica received her bachelor’s degree in education in 2013 from the renowned Nelson Mandela University in her home country of South Africa. As a lifelong learner, she plans to obtain her master’s degree in specialised education in the near future as well.

When not working, Jessica enjoys exploring the city and learning more about China’s rich history and culture. When possible, she spends her free time travelling and being outdoors with her friends and family.
