Colin Lambert
Year 5 Teacher
Colin joins us from Teesside in the northeastern part of the UK where he undertook a role as a year 5 teacher before moving to Wellington in 2021. It was his charity work as a Forest School practitioner that first led him into teaching. Here he worked with people of all ages with autism, helping them improve their social and emotional skills. Before Colin’s teaching career, he graduated from Leeds Metropolitan University with a Bachelor of Art Degree in Photography. Following on from his degree, he travelled the world for several years, getting a passion for exploring new cultures and cuisines. This would later create his strong desire to work internationally and spur his move to Shanghai. Outside of the classroom, Colin’s interests are focused on keeping fit. This has led him to cycle from coast to coast in England, hike the West Highland Way in Scotland and swim five kilometres down the River Tees.
