Learning Support Teacher

Julie comes from Chengdu, the home of pandas and spicy food. Julie obtained her Bachelor's degree in English literature from Sichuan Agricultural University in 2010. She holds teaching qualifications to teach high school English in China and to teach Chinese to speakers of other languages. For over 15 years, Julie has been working in international schools because she loves working with children. Initially, Julie worked as a classroom teacher in the early years and primary school. Over time, she transitioned into becoming a learning support teacher, developing a greater passion for teaching and supporting students with diverse learning needs. Julie has completed relevant courses and received certificates in areas such as Dyslexia, Dyscalculia, and Executive Function Challenges. Julie moved to Shanghai and joined Wellington in 2017. She has a husband, a daughter, and a son. In her free time, Julie enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends. She also likes yoga, cycling, mountain climbing, travelling, and trying different foods.
