Victoria began her teaching career six years ago in ESL, where she accumulated a wealth of experience teaching both KS1 and KS2 level students. She has since taught English, Spanish and Mandarin in the UK and more recently taught bilingual curriculums in international primary schools in Shanghai.   Her passion for languages led her to study a BA (Hons) in Modern Languages with Spanish and Chinese at Newcastle University, graduating in 2014.? She then went on to complete a PGCE at the Institute of Education, University College London, specializing in languages and teaching Mandarin and Spanish to second language learners. After spending six years living in different cities in China, Victoria considers herself to be a Sinophile. She loves learning about different cultures and languages and reading foreign language novels. Since completing her studies at University, she has taken on a new challenge of learning Japanese. One of her recent academic achievements is taking the HSK (Chinese proficiency test) to level 6. Outside of academic interests, she likes to keep an active lifestyle, and she enjoys roller skating along the West Bund at the weekend as well as running and swimming.
