Conor Gibson
Head of Year 10 | Teacher of English Language and Literature
Conor was originally trained to teach in the UK through the Teach First Development Programme. From there, he taught in Birmingham for two years before moving to International School Seychelles, where he taught history at the IGCSE and A Level and served a pastoral role as Head of Year. Most recently, he has taught English at the IGCSE and DP level and Theory of Knowledge in Indonesia.
He holds a degree in history from the University of Oxford and completed his PGCE through Birmingham City University in 2014. Currently, he is studying for a master’s degree in educational leadership from the University of Leicester.
When not teaching, Conor often reads literature and history books. He is also interested in many sports, especially cricket and football. He regularly attends cooking, taking French lessons and enjoys scuba diving.
