Teacher of Humanities
Bradley was born in Rochdale, Greater Manchester and has been working with children for over 18 years. Initially, he worked with children in care homes across the North West of England before spending seven years working in Youth Justice with children who were becoming involved in criminal behaviour. He also volunteered for a local charity that provided English lessons to refugee families. He graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University in 2002 with a BA (Hons) in criminology and sociology. He followed this up by working for the Rochdale Youth Offending Team, helping some of the most vulnerable children in society to access education and keep away from criminal activity. Bradley came to Shanghai with his then fiancé in 2010. Almost 9 years on, he is now married and blessed with two wonderful children. He completed his PGCEi Teaching qualification while teaching at The British International School, Pudong. Since then, he has primarily taught in year 5 and year 6 and has recently enjoyed his role as Primary House Co-ordinator. Bradley really enjoys exploring new places and has visited over 30 countries around the world. In his spare time, he enjoys going to the gym, walking and spending time with my family.
