Michael has 13 years of experience, having previously taught in Singapore and Japan as well as China. While spending most of his time as a PE and EAL teacher, he has served in variety of roles, including head of activities, sports coordinator, head of year and curriculum coordinator.
Prior to entering the teaching ranks Michael worked many years in the field of sports coaching and development. He was the sports editor for a regional newspaper in Western Australia and an agent network manager for a telecommunications company in New South Wales and Victoria, Australia.
Michael holds a master’s degree in education from the University of Sydney, a graduate diploma from Murdoch University and a bachelor’s degree in communication from Chaminade Univ
